Make sure that you have a camera and mic built-in or connected to your device. If you are plugging them in now, reload your browser window afterwards.
If your devices are already connected, it’s likely your browser permissions are set to not allow access.
Go to your browsers security settings (often accessed by clicking the small padlock icon in the address bar), allow access to your camera and mic, then reload your browser window.
Android browsers are often set with permissions that do not allow access to your camera and mic. Please try the following:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Apps.
- Tap the browser you are using.
- Tap Permissions.
- In the Allowed section at the top, if you do not see both Camera and Microphone then this is the issue.
- Scroll down to find Camera and/or Microphone, click on them and set to Allowed.
- Reload this page in your browser.

Ensure you have selected the correct microphone and speak to check the sound. If it is working, you will see sound levels on the meter.

Setup your shot
Select the correct camera from the menu, then position yourself in the outline.

Recording pages
You can add as many recording pages as you need to your Recordr project. You can set time limits and set any recording as mandatory.
Here you can add any tips that might help them answer or improve their technical setup.
